September's tuition: metadata, Metaprograms, meta ...;)
so happened that in September and began and ended for me the workshops. Despite the fact that among them was a thematic gap, there are both "meta" reigned. The first meeting (which is linked with a consortium of Polish Digital Libraries) is Workshop on the development of digital libraries resource. It was held in Gniezno in a beautiful hotel Pietrak . Reasons to standardize the metadata used in BC is a lot, one of the major upcoming FBC inevitably join Europeana, so it was over and sit. Resulting three teams : the metadata, synonyms, and on the legal issues. Participate in the work of the first two teams, and the results of our actions will be presented at the December workshop organized by the creators of dLibry. The second workshop will be organized by us (the Library WSH) meeting Fri How do you say? Dialogue in the library . The title may seem quite ordinary, but to my surprise this was not a theme (a poster of a program posted Malin at home.) Dominated by issues related to NLP, motivating and non-verbal communication. Techniques of NLP is the thing which I would like to focus. The first lecture metaprogrammes concerned, that scenario thinking, or filters, they use the dialogue participants. The diagnosis of a simple way to much better, nicer and easier communication. And yet what we in contact with readers and colleagues involved (eg Malin D, uses quite different from my metaprogramu). Another point of the program, for which I want to note is purely based on NLP workshop run by Raphael Przybylski Fri Motivation in the work of the librarian. NLP techniques can and are controversial, but looking at our profession begs to many a librarian has used for himself but a few. Many persons would add to an anchor, modeling, marked out their own targets, better mood, motivation and positive thinking. I was thinking (though one of the librarians have protested!) That librarians would do such a decent week training, before studying, and then can professional librarians in the end to the climate has changed ;-)

new academic year is coming in which it will be new challenges, new directions, and thus new studeci. Before they occur - Time to summarize the time spent with current students. Here's another bunch of humor ;-)
Scene 1
(Bicycle)
Student: I would like to "Administrative Law" and "administrative proceedings."
Me: Whose?
Student: My.
Scene 2
(a student at a computer a long time trying to go to the library catalog)
Student: In general, went on a Library 2.0, so I wanted to be ahead!
Scene 3
(Bicycle)
Student: I wanted something Community law.
Me: And what exactly?
Student: And is not so in general? Please give some one the most concrete.
(after a while I bring a student book)
Student: But this is a European ... and this is also such a Community?
4th Stage
(Malin supports a student who wanted something a management company)
Malin: Please, sir, and you had Skowronek?
Student: No, I never had. Ie. I had, but I gave.
Scene 5
(considering the use the online catalog)
Student: It's still maybe I'll put something here.
Me: Yes, we would write something.
6th Stage
(Bicycle)
Student: Hello, can I use the bathroom?
7th Stage
(student to hire, which would probably guide to civil law)
Student: Good morning, whether it is Zbigniew Radwanski?
