. Teachers ... it's time to stop being afraid and get started. And with what and how. As it turns out computers in schools is in abundance, the problem is that they stand in the halls pozamykanych the padlock, and their use is taking place only on the lesson. Assuming that teachers are not technology problems (oby!) and that students are able to show the meaning and purpose of acquiring knowledge, and instill a critical attitude, you can at conferences such as this to show them the various tools and projects. Presentation of a few such key tools on Tuesday took place. And they were for example:

Silesian Digital Library (presented by the very interesting Remigiusz Lisa, one of the main objectives SDL is to support teaching and learning) Wikipedia and its discretion (articles, Wikibooks, Wikimedia Commons) Google Docs (and use them for chasing the students to share their tasks and to improve teacher) Google Maps, Picasso (as by the students tools to create interactive maps of historical cities)
- Free Reading and Free Manuals (presented them Jaroslaw Lipszyc )
- Youth TV
- animated film and of course e-learning platforms (using the environment
- Logomocja ) Examples of these I do not think you need to discuss;). My impression, however, that for most teachers will not matter so much new, but need to break up, it's probably the hardest ao. Edwin Bendyk, summarizing the presentation of the digital library, said: most important function in the library is no longer the custodian, but the hacker . And I think you need to rephrase this sentence by inserting a teacher there. Active participation in media culture and its co-creation - that education can not ignore ... Then somehow the gap between school (teachers) and students to grow, and examples of its effects appeared in numerous speeches by Zbigniew Holdys, which ended (after all, in a positive mood), conference:)
