interpretations of the Tarot by Barbara Walker is rooted in Tantric philosophy. The illustrations show the religious ideas of India, the Middle East, Europe and Egypt. Some letters also illustrate beliefs ancient pagan.
The mysteries are recognizable by sight and that evoke the Waite Tarot decks and Marseille in symbolism, although there are some exceptions and some subtle changes.
Barbara Walker to the Major Arcana are symbols of initiation into the mysteries of pre-Christian religions, which ruled the goddess and was accepted reincarnation. To that end, she takes the interpretations based on the patriarchal society and restore the original matriarch.

The court cards are quite marked differences compared to other traditional roofing and replaces Walker by: kings, queens, princes and princesses, each carrying the name and the specific image of a god or a goddess from mythology, significant and representative of the characteristics of that card.
