Tarot and Japanese style in Video Decoding

I dedicate this post to several decks of cards, traditional Tarot cards, which are based on the beautiful images of traditional Japan.
Some of them are reproductions of great painters or based on Japanese Ukiyo-e style.

"Ukiyo-e (浮世 絵, Ukiyo-e?) " pictures of the floating world ", or Japanese prints. It is a genre of prints (made by engraving or etching technique in wood) produced in Japan between the seventeenth and twentieth centuries, among which are landscape images, the theater and pleasure quarters. "
"Ukiyo, refers to the impetuous young culture that bloomed in the urban center of Edo (now Tokyo), Osaka, and Kyoto that were a world unto themselves. It is an ironic allusion to the homophone term" Sorrowful World " (憂き 世) , the earthly plane of death and rebirth in which Buddhism is based. " (More info HERE )

spring a little bit about the future

April already under way, the spring also, but in the warmer months have already run out in mind. Perhaps as early as May read something of mine in Bulletin EBIB and namely, a description of the online training library, which we implemented in the Moodle platform. There will be a bit about how the students received them. And as I mentioned it once - most received good :-). Concerned the future of the title or conference at which I had the opportunity to experience some time ago, and was organized by the GM in WSB Chorzów . "Library for the Future" - so the title was a meeting and my presentation is "A new life online, which is non-public university publications in the digital environment." How such a new life looks like, what are the benefits and the what fun occasion, you can read in the Bibliotheca Nostra (also made available online SDL), a post-conference will prepare the text. So far on Slideshare little sneak peak ;-). In the autumn takes place at our annual workshop on the image of libraries and librarians, the fruit of which perhaps will be articles in the "Nostrze. And when the winter is getting closer perhaps to the Commission on the basis of Automation of the ZG SBP will be some activity? Time will tell ;-). Well, sometimes in winter dLibrowe workshops every year :-). So many plans, and as long as the spring goes wild. A rabbit

Blue Moon Tarot - Tarot Maat (Julie Cuccia-Watts)

The Tarot "Blue Moon" Tarot and "Maat" are unique Tarot decks designed by artist Julie Cuccia-Watts , also creator of Ancestral Path Tarot.

These letters convey a new vision of the Tarot, from the perspective of solar and lunar cycles, so the author makes a re-structuring of the traditional scheme of the Tarot, by giving each arcane corresponded with the lunar cycle, positions of the planets, the equinoxes, solstices and seasonal festivities. A journey through the archetypes through the cosmic wheel.

The Blue Moon Tarot is the first housing created by Cuccia-Watts in this direction, motivated by visions he had during a dream, comprised only of the Major Arcana. From it comes the cover Maat, limited edition of 78 cards covering both the Major Arcana as children. The

Maat Tarot is an evolution of its two precursors covered: "The Ancestral Path Tarot" (year 1990) and "Blue Moon" , resulting in a multicultural, astrology, Tarot deep and beautiful.

The letters are works of art where intuition predominates.
colors give this cover own life filled with symbolism.

The Name of the cover refers to the "Goddess Maat" symbol of Truth , the Justice and cosmic harmony, was also represented as a goddess, daughter of Ra in Egyptian mythology.

Fundamentally, maat is an abstract concept of universal justice, balance and cosmic harmony prevailing in the world since its inception and must be preserved. Resume

Egyptian worldview, similar to the notion of harmony and arete, own the Hellenic world, or the idea of \u200b\u200bvirtue, the Judeo-Christian world.
